Genelia wore a bandhani sari embellished with parsi gara embroidery from Ashdeen and while I loved the sari itself, wasn’t digging the finishing touches here. The lace white hairnet was overkill and that necklace didn’t work with that neckline.

Vidya attended a beauty awards event in a flared dress from Maison Tai paired with a sleek middle parted low bun. The dress with those puffy sleeves just feel like a whole lotta material but the neat hairdo offset it well. My only gripe is the eye-makeup. Didn’t think it worked here.

Rasika attended the awards night of IFF Melbourne wearing a dress and coat set from Maison Tai with platform sandals and Amrapali earrings that featured blue blue gemstones that contrasted the rust orange outfit. It’s winter in Melbourne so the coat and closed toe sandals worked here.
She looked good!

Genelia attended the baarat wearing a sari (a Himroo woven using upcycled cotton) from Re-Ceremonial the nauvari style complete with a nath. The wedding event saw her in a gold lehenga from Anavila. She looked lovely in both.

At the ashirwad ceremony, Vidya was seen in a turmeric colored lehenga from Re-ceremonial. In the past, I’ve loved their white pieces featuring gota work. This one though, am not a fan of. The pale pink color at the border didn’t quite work with the rest of the color scheme and overall, the lehenga seemed more appropriate for a haldi ceremony. It felt a bit dull.
