In Maison Tai

Rasika attended the awards night of IFF Melbourne wearing a dress and coat set from Maison Tai with platform sandals and Amrapali earrings that featured blue blue gemstones that contrasted the rust orange outfit. It’s winter in Melbourne so the coat and closed toe sandals worked here.

She looked good!

In Twos

Genelia attended the baarat wearing a sari (a Himroo woven using upcycled cotton) from Re-Ceremonial the nauvari style complete with a nath. The wedding event saw her in a gold lehenga from Anavila. She looked lovely in both.

In Re-Ceremonial

At the ashirwad ceremony, Vidya was seen in a turmeric colored lehenga from Re-ceremonial. In the past, I’ve loved their white pieces featuring gota work. This one though, am not a fan of. The pale pink color at the border didn’t quite work with the rest of the color scheme and overall, the lehenga seemed more appropriate for a haldi ceremony. It felt a bit dull.

What say you of this outing/look?

In JJ Valaya

Genelia wore a JJ Valaya jacquard kurta and skirt set and boy, am I glad someone chose to sport a textile rich attire instead of a blingy sari. My very minor gripe was the necklaces she wore with the kurta. They didn’t quite work that neckline.

In Jade

Vidya wore a lehenga jacket set from Jade to the Sinha-Iqbal wedding pairing it with simple earrings and a beaded potli. She looked nice.
