Katrina helped unveil celebrity trainer Yasmin Karachiwala’s book today in Mumbai wearing Versace. While I like the pairing of the asymmetric mini with the black Ferragamo belt, the Dior pumps here felt a bit of a snooze. Since, Ms. Kaif plays it safe with her hairdo mostly, it would’ve been nice to see a sexy pair of sandals with the dress. Ankle up, she looked nice.

In Jatin Varma

For the Awards night, Amala picked a Jatin Varma gown, one that she paired with jewelry from Versace and Suhani Pittie and Jimmy Choo sandals. Matching purple lip color added the ever important finishing touch to her look. The gown works well on the actor; she looked nice. (Just wish she had picked different sandals!)

However, having seen Genelia wear a gown from this very collection, in the same color just a day before, the feeling of déjà vu was hard to escape. While the gowns were different from each other, having spotted the two back-to-back, they were alike enough to lack any novelty by the time Amala got around to wearing it. Bummer!

Of Dresses

At a collection preview at Bandra 190, Bhavana & Krishika both sported printed flared dress with the former in her Tibi one and Krishika in a Clover Canyon.

Of the two, much preferred Bhavana in hers thanks to her simple take on styling the dress. Between the gold Versace pumps and the Versace tote, Krishika’s look just felt too gaudy.

Chitrangda helped judge Femina’s Style Diva contest and for the event donned a one-shouldered Monisha Jaising gown. Picking up on the gold embroidery, she finished out her look with vintage Versace earrings and a pair gold Choo sandals.

She looked good!

Ms. Arora taped the an episode of India’s Got Talent wearing a draped Shantanu & Nikhil gown with vintage Versace earrings, Isharya earrings and a pair of gold Choos adding some bling to the look.
