At the audio launch of Aranmanai 2, Trish was seen in gold Sonam Parmar separates and Studio V7 earrings. Unfortunately, between the bow top and the pleats, the outfit just felt very busy. The separates in any other color may have downplayed the previous issues but with all that gold and the stark pink contrast, everything just got even more amplified.

Let’s just say, we weren’t fans.

Amrita attended Masaba and Madhu’s wedding reception wearing Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika. That jacket paired with that skirt isn’t a combo I would be instantly drawn to but it is to Ms. Puri’s credit that she makes the two work. In fact, she looked adorable in it. Love the addition of the teeny bindi.

Trisha did desi at the screening of ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ wearing a white and gold Prathyusha Garimella long kurta. Hair in an updo, her look was finished out with earrings and a lead palm cuff, both from Kiara.

While she looked nice, I wish she’d carried a potli to complete the desi look and hide that phone. It is a huge pet peeve of mine to see someone go the whole nine-yard in dressing up and then step out with a phone in hand.

Face of NAC Jewellers, Trisha attended the inauguration of two of its stores recently, wearing a Sailesh Singhania sari to one and a Anushree Reddy lehenga to the other. Between the lehenga and the sari, it was easy to pick the latter as the favorite. She looked absolutely lovely in it.

As for the lehenga look, the way it pooled awkwardly at the hemline, made the look not so like-able. A higher pair of heels or maybe worn a wee bit higher on the waist might have worked better.

Trisha attended the audio launch of Thoongavanam wearing an ombré maxi from Vineti Bolaki and jewellery by Kiara. Given audio launches these days mostly see stars in full-on decked out looks, her relatively casual one made for a very welcome change. I, for one, quite liked.
