Sporting separates from her collection for The Closet Label, Malaika attended a recent event. Wearing her hair to the side, she finished out the look with a gold-tone bracelet and sandals. Am not a big fan of this look… While the colors work, the different fabrics of the top and skirt don’t quite work together. Especially dislike the skirt, the puckering at hem was a downer!

Printed or solid, wide-legged trousers aren’t always the easiest to pull off. And while these ladies may have been near mirror images of themselves, clearly one had more success with her look than the other. Relatively speaking anyway.
