Also wearing custom Manish Malhotra at the SOTY 2 trailer launch was Tara. It seems like the instructions for the making of this dress was “a young girl who is modern but loves her roots” and while I appreciate the addition of the Kashmiri embroidery, did that really have to translate to a strapless poorly designed ill-fitted mini? Ms. Sutaria has looked so much better at her previous appearances.

Out And About

Teaming her distressed denim with a crop-top, Tara was photographed as she was out in Mumbai recently. Her accessories that day included a pair of chunky sneakers and a classic Chanel bag. While it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, she did make the look work for her.

At the Sabyasachi 20th anniversary celebrations, Tara was seen in a strapless lehenga-style gown by the designer. Personally, I am not a fan of such gowns, but she wore it well.

Tara attended Punit Malhotra’s bash on Saturday wearing a black mini by Alessandra Rich with a Charles & Keith bag and block heel boots.

She sure wore it well and I liked that she opted for boots here but boy, oh boy, that dress is so dangerously short! 😛
