It seems I had guessed correctly and Taapsee’s this series of promotions has her in shades of blue. Her recent promotions appearance had her in a dress and corset top from Oh Polly and a skirt set from Redefine.
Between the two, much preferred her in the printed set. The white corset against the blue felt much too jarring.

Taapsee was seen at promotions for her upcoming movie wearing separates from House of Eda and Baum Und Pferdgarten. Given that I still dislike bike-shorts being worn when not quite biking, preferred her in the halter top and pants.
Given that Ms. Pannu’s promotional looks are tied to her movies, are we going to see her in this shade of blue? The connection being that the Indian team’s official uniform color was this.

While at an Awards event held last evening in Mumbai, Taapsee was photographed wearing Saroj Jalan. It’s hard to make out from these images but it’s a sari draped over sheer churidaars, and a jacket layered over it all.
Between the embellishment and the layers, visually there’s a lot to take in. But Taapsee to her credit made every bit of the look work; she looked striking on the red carpet. I like!
