Genelia recently launched a lounge in Kolkata wearing a pink Surily Goel dress. We don’t have full-lengths of her but don’t need it either. Not a fan of the dress itself.

We’ve already seen this Stella on Rihanna and Jennifer Garner (see here). While Rihanna chose to go bare, Jennifer did wear a bra underneath. It looks like Ms. Goel did pick some support for the twins but not the right one because one can clearly see that the twins are quite lopsided. A shame really, because the lace dress is exquisite. Surily gets points for getting the rest of the look right though.

As much of a trend thigh-high boots are (were?), wearing them over denims is a bad idea. Terrible actually. Minus the mis-sized boots, do like how the orange Hermès belt lends some color to the outfit. Also relying on orange Hermès to add that ‘pop’ was Surily with her Jige (clutch). Love it.

How we love this dress! Love.
The color and the dress work great on Surily, just wish she had dialed up the playfulness of the dress… The hair is such a downer.

At both Araaish events, designer Surily Goel kept it quite simple by pairing shirt-dresses with flats (Giuseppe Zanotti Toe-Ring Skull Sandals) and a slim tan belt. I like this look, it’s fuss-free and casual without being sloppy.
