Wearing Dior Two Ways

While jewellery designer Maheep played up her Dior jacket with a shimmery skirt, Marie Claire Editor Neena used purple pumps to add a lil’ jazz to hers. We love the pumps and the color pop idea but are those black denims we see?

Shoe-In, Shoe-Out

This is the first we’ve spotted one of those Sabyasachi shoes off the runway and, as much as I applaud Rashmi for sporting the unusual, they just did not work. Those platform-clogs (I just made up that word for lack of a better one) need to have a moment and this wasn’t it.

On an aside, who do you think can work the hell out of these shoes? Or are they unsalvageable and, should be left for the runway alone?

In Dior

It was a flirty, floral Dior Spring 2010 dress which Shamita wore to the store launch. Now if only she had put a bit of a retro spin on it… The hair and the black pumps are bit of a downer for me. Strappy heels and some marcel waves if not a pony would’ve done the trick!

The color in itself is quite striking and the scattered sparkles added more than enough to the dress, which is why we don’t understand why jewellery designer Ranjana Khan chose to add that unseemly brooch and the aqua earrings. This round we’ll give to Laila for keeping it simple and letting the dress do the talking with simple accessories!

In Stella McCartney

We’ve already seen this Stella on Rihanna and Jennifer Garner (see here). While Rihanna chose to go bare, Jennifer did wear a bra underneath. It looks like Ms. Goel did pick some support for the twins but not the right one because one can clearly see that the twins are quite lopsided. A shame really, because the lace dress is exquisite. Surily gets points for getting the rest of the look right though.
