Dressing Up White And Blue
A great way to dress up the good ol’ white tee and denim! While Lohan does the ‘Bohemian’ (below), Knowles prefers Glam’ing it up (above)!
When playing around with your scarves/stoles, which look would you go for?

Probably the best thing about Fall is how change effortlessly creeps up on you, and suddenly, you notice a nip in the air and a chilly shiver on your shoulder on a quiet evening… And while the still evening puts a blush on one’s cheek, nothing says elegant better than a demure stole wrapped around a lady to compliment the weather and her temperament!

A paisely scarf/stole is easily a staple that remains a classic and timeless must-have that you can’t go wrong with! The pictures that I have posted, are of Loro Piana (at Neiman Marcus) and Etro (at Saks) and needless to say, they are definitely pricey! But hey, if one were to look, you can always find the look for less!
Considering it is such a wardrobe staple, you should pick a stole that is in your budget, and trust me, there is one for everyone!
Are you Fall ready?
Wow! Bipasha Basu looked absolutely gorgeous at the Cartier launch of its new 34 piece collection called Inde Mystérieuse.
I love how she included a traditional stole into the whole western outfit! It is nice to see someone represent some Indian influences especially at an international event.
The collection is inspired by India and is still under wraps, but we will make sure that the moment it is out, you get to see it!
For the time being though, feast your eyes on the collection on display.
Spotted Mischa Barton out and about in New York sporting an Indian style stole/shawl and its such a great way to add some zing to an otherwise bland outfit!

Here’s a style tip.. Stoles. Stoles. Stoles. The easiest way to weather those transition months, and, what a chic way to go into Fall. Used wisely, it would compliment so many clothing choices, and is so marked for being a wardrobe staple, that is, if it isn’t already!
Throw it over jeans or little dresses to breathe some style into them and, for making a statement about you that sets you apart..and it sure doesn’t hurt to cover those bare shoulders when the nights begin to get a little nippy. I especially love the silk stoles from Fabindia with those vegetable dyes or the chiffon ones from Anokhi. They use stunning colors, the prints are beautiful and you know you can’t go wrong with those!
So, cover up and drape that stole.
