It was a Monisha Jaising gown for Sonakshi while at the Awards event last night. Centre-parted slick hair, red lip, jewelry from Gehna and a Judith Leiber minaudière finished out the actor’s look. On paper, this isn’t a look we’d ordinarily like… All that red (with a matching red lip to boot) blending on to the red carpet is just a bit much. To Ms. Sinha’s credit though, she pulled it off. It was dramatic and it worked on her!

On her way to a Diwali party, Sonakshi dropped by at the opening of a bar in a Mumbai suburb on Friday evening. Her outfit of the night was a silk Masaba shirt paired with a high-waisted midi skirt and black cutout pumps.

Hair in an updo, she finished out her look with a black Gucci bag, vintage earrings courtesy of Viange and a light red lip. I may not be a fan of the footwear but overall she did look nice.
