It was a Monisha Jaising gown for Sonakshi while at the Awards event last night. Centre-parted slick hair, red lip, jewelry from Gehna and a Judith Leiber minaudière finished out the actor’s look. On paper, this isn’t a look we’d ordinarily like… All that red (with a matching red lip to boot) blending on to the red carpet is just a bit much. To Ms. Sinha’s credit though, she pulled it off. It was dramatic and it worked on her!

not usually a fan of Sonakshi’s looks, but am utterly loving that plunging neckline on her. a pat on the back for not zipping or patching up. she looks good!
ThIs would look so much better if it was sleeveless. Too much red and volume creating a messy silhouette

Nope, she did not pull it off. This is terrible.
The colour is fab on her. I just don’t like the sleeves but otherwise thumbs up

But hate the hair styling… It is making her face look rounder than ever

Hate the makeup and that hair. Color is good. Since she looks so much like that yesteryear actor Reena Roy, find it difficult to criticize about any of her looks. 😛
