Wearing a pink Tantsari in an Atpoure drape, Shweta attended Ashtami celebrations with her family today. She had already won me over with the sari pic but wearing it the traditional Bengali way just earned more brownie points. I loved!

Shweta attended Rima’s birthday bash on Wednesday evening wearing a belted shirt-dress by Israeli designer, Dodo Bar Or. I, for one, loved the dress instantly. Just wish she’d paired the dress with either a black clutch or black pumps.
Between the pumps and the clutch, there was one metallic element too many.

Wearing a Jani and Khosla gown, Shweta accompanied her father to the Hello! Hall Of Fame Awards on Monday evening. Now, we’ve seen the Jani and Khosla label numerous times on celebs outside of India but this was the very first time we were seeing it worn closer to home.
With the camera flashes being so bright, I can’t quite judge the gown itself but Shweta did wear it well. Can’t say though I liked the finishing touches here. I would’ve preferred the gown with big tear drop emerald earrings and a plain emerald bracelet.

Wearing an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari, Shweta was among the very few to don Indianwear at HT Awards. A matching, beaded evening bag and some serious bling rounded out the look. While we applaud her choice to wear a sari, can’t say we were the biggest fans of the look itself. Perhaps a less rigid, non-pleated pallu would’ve helped soften up the look some.

It’s not very often that we see Ms. Bachchan wear a woven sari, not on these pages anyway and so you can imagine our surprise at this recent sighting of hers. With the big bindi and matching potli, Shweta sure looked good in her polka-dot sari. The downer however was the shawl. Sure Delhi is chilly but perhaps, she could’ve left it back in her chair while on the stage? Or at the very least, picked a more non-intrusive one and not have draped it the way she did. It ruined what could’ve been an absolute ten!
