The statuesque Shweta Bachchan Nanda can make almost anything work… This Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla outfit however isn’t one of them. Between the hair, the fiery red lip, multi-color dress (?) and its volume, there just was way too much going on. What would’ve perhaps worked beautifully in a magazine was less than stellar off of it.

The annual Mijwan Fashion show that showcases Manish Malhotra’s creations and fabric created by the Mijwan Welfare society took place in Mumbai on saturday evening and as always saw tons of celebs supporting the cause by walking the runway.
This year the focus was parents and their kids with Amitabh walking with Shweta, Abhishek with Jaya, Anil with Sonam, Shatrughan with Sonakshi and Javed with Farhan.

It was a strapless Tibi jumpsuit for Shweta while at a recent soirée. Discreet jewelry and bling-ey heels completed her look. While the lace jumpsuit worked well on her, the sparkly sandals didn’t, not with that jumpsuit. Wish she had gone the minimalist route with her heels as well.
