For her upcoming movie’s music launch, Shriya picked an embellished white sari. Though not a fan of the sari to begin with, the nude net-sleeved blouse just about killed anything the look could’ve had going for it. Beautiful woman but really wish she’d up her sartorial game.

Ms. Saran was also spotted at a wedding recently for which she picked saris again. Though we have no full-length images, it’s clear she fared way, way better and looked rather sweet.

Amara just started stocking designs by Shilpa Reddy and in attendance was Ms. Saran wearing a pink belted sari by the designer. You’ll remember seeing a similar one in white on Lakshmi when she walked the ramp at the South Spin Awards.

We may not be fans of the blouse but considering Ms. Saran’s track record, should be thankful that she didn’t tackify this look.

It’s been Manish Malhotra for Shriya at all Midnight’s Children red carpet events so far. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any worse than this appearance of hers, she proves us wrong.

Does anyone else think her top isn’t part of the original outfit and is more of a custom job?

At the movie’s press meet, both its leading ladies picked dresses to wear. However while Shriya fared okay in hers, Shahana was mighty underwhelming coming from this. Besides, between the cropped jacket, belt and chunky platforms, it seemed all too choppy and disproportionate on her. Not very flattering.

While Ms. Saran’s appearance in Toronto had us cringing, London saw her fare a lot better. The beautiful actress has always been bit of a sartorial disappointment so baby-steps is the way to go. She looked good.

P.S: Any one else wish the blouse sleeve ended with the first border (from top)? Or even the first two; just not feeling that last lace(?) border/trim bit at the end.
