Wearing a Masaba, Shilpa attended the launch of an Anmol jewellery store in Delhi today.

At first glance, I thought Ms. Shetty was wearing a Kasavu sari but the border on here isn’t a zari one. As striking as the white sari and the black blouse are, the draped cowl effect on the side makes it look more like that the sari itself is badly worn. Even though it is just a pre-stitched effect.

Waist up, she looked lovely.

We’ll admit, seeing Ms. Shetty in a kantha jacket was quite a surprise. A very good one at that. But, while I loved her foray into desi-boho territory, the bag choice felt a bit odd. Sometimes, mismatching works but in this case, the metallic Balenciaga felt out of place.

Just me feeling that way?

For the launch of her spa’s newest branch, Shilpa picked an orange and forest-green suit. Since we can’t find a single redeeming quality here, we’ll just leave hoping this is the last we see of this suit.

An art show preview saw Shilpa do desi in a Neeta Lulla angarkha style long kurta and palazzo pants. Adding some color to the white via a ruby layered necklace and a long pearl and ruby one, she finished out the look with her Hermès Birkin and Dior sandals.

She looked nice even though I think she could’ve skipped the longer necklace.
