Teaming her printed wrap-top from The Kooples with a velvet fringed wrap-skirt, Shilpa attended a birthday do in Mumbai last evening. I am not the biggest fan of those separates but perhaps had they been paired differently, they would’ve stood a chance. Together though, it’s not a look I can warm up to, just makes for a bad Nineties flashback.

Wearing a Yousef Akbar dress that featured a thigh-high slit and a matching jacket, Shilpa attended a recent awards evening. Diamond jewelry and bling-y strappy Louboutins rounded out her look.
The dress, the shoulder-baring jacket worn just so and all that shimmer on any other person would seem so excessive. Yet, this brand of ott is right up Shilpa’s alley. In fact, she might be among the very few who stood any chance of making this work. But, it wasn’t among our favorites from the evening. The whole look seems too contrived and forced, we weren’t big on it.

Shilpa grabbed brunch with her family on Sunday wearing a one-shouldered printed dress from Étoile Isabel Marant. Loved the dress and the shoes on her. That oversized Fendi tote though felt very out of place here. Unless, it was being used to take some food to-go, just seemed so out of place here.
