At Neeta Lulla’s show, these lovely ladies were dressed in the designer’s label to show their support. And between the three, a whole range was covered too with Raageshwari in a dress, Aarti in an anarkali and Shabana in a sari.
We absolutely adored Ms. Azmi’s appearance and that kalamkari sari got an instant ‘We Like‘ from us!

Just a week after making stars walk for her cause, Ms. Azmi herself walked the ramp for designer Ritu Kumar showcasing the ‘Falaknuma’ collection. Giving her company was Dia Mirza who looked gorgeous on the ramp.

The Mijwan-Sonnets in Fabric is fundraiser show for Mijwan Welfare Society founded by the late Kaifi Azmi for the empowerment of the girl child in rural India.
This year Shabana Azmi paired up with designer Manish Malhotra and got the who’s who of Bollywood to walk for the show some of whom you’ll see below.
Coming back to Shabana, while I really liked the extended blouse that she sported with her Manish Malhotra sari, I just wish the sleeves weren’t brocade. The hair also was a downer.
