Rukmini’s movie Kantara: Chapter 1 was recognized at the THR India Honours event and at the event she was seen in a draped sari gown from 431-88. I look at the model and the drape worked so well but on Rukmini the whole sari fell flat and I blame the drape. It also needed more interesting footwear.

Rukmini was the third person at this launch party to be seen in a dress from Extra Ordinnaire and while most often third time’s a charm, it wasn’t so in this case. The print and the color was nice but the lopsided cups looked so awkward.

Rukmini also opted for a handloom kanjivaram sari wearing a purplish/blue one with a blue stone earrings and a necklace. No complaints. Just love.
