This Ritu Kumar outfit has been spotted multiple times and on many different people (including Neha herself) albeit in a different color.
Considering that the last time, Neha was the first to be spotted (by us anyway) wearing this in red, can’t help but wonder how many will follow suit wearing white.

My feelings for this collection were as mixed as the clothes shown as part of it. Ritu Kumar’s The Label (designed by Amrish Kumar) showcased dresses, separates and Indian-wear (like those lehengas) with a more contemporary twist.
The pieces that had Indian influences worked really well and, those lehengas (second row, right and extreme right images) especially stood out. The rest though were quite humdrum. This prêt line is as commercial as it gets with pieces ready to be worn right off the runway and we have no doubts they’d sell… But as far as the “design” part of it goes, there was nothing new on offer here. Did I already say humdrum?

Mischa Barton was spotted in a Ritu Kumar dress while out and about in LA and have to add… Way to ruin that dress Mischa!! Absolutely dislike the shoes and bag that she has on with the dress… Argh.
Bai Ling was spotted in this dress too outside of a showroom, though her picture looks more like a posed P.R shot! 😉

You may have heard about Jessica Simpson travelling to India for her show ‘The Price Of Beauty’. (Catch here.) The show aired a couple of months back and featuring in it besides Neha Dhupia and designer Ritu Kumar was also Meena, a girl who got an Operation Smile makeover. Meena, post her operation, got to attend the Operation Smile Gala held in NY last night hosted by Jessica Simpson and was positively radiant.

Former Ms. India, Ekta is the latest to be spotted in the A/W 2009 Ritu Kumar outfit and wears it best, in our opinion. Of the three, the bustline falls best on her and the fit is just right. Who do you prefer?
