Rhea attended Abu Sandeep’s collection preview on Tuesday wearing a jacket, waistcoat and pocket square from Tom Ford with Rick Owens pants and a Zoya choker. Per her post, the top half was borrowed from her dad’s wardrobe, which I thought was really cute. I know I have plenty of shirts I’ve stolen from my dad.

Now let’s talk about the outfit. I love a good power suit and in theory this was a good movebut can I say she nailed it? Not quite.

The biggest issue here was the waistcoat which sat way too low and caused the eyes to be drawn to the decollete which was more of a distraction. In reality, I should’ve been able to focus on the full look and appreciate that.

Wearing a black Jade sari, Rhea attended the label’s 10th anniversary special exhibition and fashion show on Tuesday evening. I like the idea of the vest jacket pairing but I didn’t like how it was worn.

Wearing Escada separates, Sonam attended a book launch in Delhi on Sunday. Loved the outfit but those big hair pins were a distraction. I wish she’d skipped them.

Doing Denim

Rhea attended the screening of Dhadak wearing an oversized denim coat paired with a white shirt, skinny denims, sneakers and a Balenciaga tote.

I like over sized coats when they have a bit of a structure to them. Here though, hers looked rather sloppy and busy. I also, don’t get the makeup. All of it just felt so disconnected.

Rhea attended Akash and Shloka’s engagement wearing a white sharara by current favorites, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Ms. Kapoor may do wonders for her sister but when it comes to herself, she sometimes fails really badly.

This outfit felt so so dated. Especially, with the dupatta worn that way, it was just too much pattern for the eyes.
