As much as it is quintessential Rekha to do OTT, this one is bit of a ‘WTHey’ for me even after having made allowances.

What’s a reception without an appearance of a heavy-duty ‘Kanjeevaram’ sari and doing the honors were both Jaya Prada and Rekha. Although I have a soft spot for both Jaya and Rekha, have to give this one to Rekha for wearing it better.

While gowns dominated this years Filmfare awards, another dominant trend on the red carpet was the color beige.
We saw Raima, Deepika and Rekha wear beige colored saris and we thought each wore her sari well. Yes, even Rekha, because anything would have been an upgrade compared to the velvet mess we last saw her in! Anushka also was an upgrade with her Gaurav Gupta gown and Vidya was as predictable as can be in yet another anarkali silhouette.
While my favorite belle in beige was Deepika, who had just the right amount of bling and beige, who was yours?
