You know we love a good sari sighting and had a really good one today. At her sister-in-law’s engagement lunch today, Kanika was spotted wearing a Raw Mango sari paired oh-so-perfectly with a silver necklace and green Balenciaga pumps. The latter was just so unexpected and yet worked so well with the hand painted sari. Love!

These lovely ladies were all spotted wearing lehengas recently. For Sonal it was a cheery Suvi Arya and for Aditi, a Punit Balana. And Neha was photographed in a Sanjay Garg lehenga. Wearing their hair partially pinned back, they rounded out the look with jewelry that included big earrings.

Kareena attended the opening ceremony of a film festival in Bengaluru on Thursday wearing a black Raw Mango sari featuring a contrast pink and red border. While I thought she looked lovely, I would’ve loved to see the pallu left free.
On an aside, do you like the way the pallu is pleated here where the blouse shows more. Or would’ve you have preferred the sari cover the blouse a bit more. Or would that have felt too uniform-ish.
