At the Ambani-Mehta engagement, Rani was seen in a gold anarkali by Sabyasachi. Adding a red lip helped in contrasting all that gold but I have to admit, this is the first time, I am not quite liking a Sabyasachi design.

At the Navbharat Times Utsav, Rani was seen wearing an ivory beaded sari by Sabyasachi. It’s been a while since we saw her on these pages and we ain’t complaining. She looked nice.

Back from London, Rani was seen at the airport in a Stella McCartney tee paired with stone-wash denims, a Prada bag and white kolhapuri chappals. This would’ve looked so much better with a flared ankle-denims.

Wearing a lace bomber, denims and Nicholas Kirkwood pearl mules, Rani jetted out of Mumbai on Saturday morning. The bomber and the mules were cute but those straight-line denims just wasn’t the right pairing. Cropped flare would’ve worked better here.

The evening reception saw Rani yet again in another Sabyasachi lehenga, this one being predominantly gold. Hair worn down middle-parted, she finished out her look with a lipstick that picked up on the border of the lehenga and ruby and gold jhumkis.
Considering it was a sangeet cum reception, part of me doesn’t mind the glammed up avatar. But, I wish she’d worn the dupatta better though. Again.
