As part of Shivaay promotions, Kajol and Ajay taped a Diwali special on the Kapil Sharma Show on Saturday. Going with the theme, Kajol went desi wearing a gold and white Bhumika Sharma anarkali with Satyani jewels.

At first glance, the floor length anarkali felt like it was adding unnecessary bulk on her, but the more I look, the less I mind it. Perhaps, because I love the makeup and hairdo so much more, am not quite paying attention to the anarkali.

Wearing a pink Terrence Lobo dress, Akshara attended a recent Awards night. An updo, earrings from Aquamarine, a Radhika Mehra clutch and new peep-toe pumps finished out the actor’s look. This appearance felt rather uninspired; Akshara could do better! A softer do, more muted make-up and metallic ankle-strap sandals would’ve helped elevate the look.

Wearing Arpita Mehta with jewelry from Anmol, Mira attended the Gupta-Mantena reception held last night. A gold-tone clutch finished out her rather understated look. A whole lot of net in a color palette that could’ve easily read ‘drab’ is almost always tricky… That wasn’t the case here however! Mira looked lovely.

At Masaba’s mehendi ceremony, Mira was seen in a beige Madsam Tinzin lehenga featuring a floor-length kurta and a printed dupatta. Paired with Radhika Agrawal earrings, her lehenga look was finished out with a clutch by The Rad Project.

I love that Mira always keeps it elegant and never veers into the OTT category. Here’s hoping she never ever does!

We had two sightings of Nikasha recently, one on Monica while at MAMI and the other on Mira while at a Diwali party. The former did a more casual look in a floral one-shouldered fringe tunic with black churidaars while the latter did desi in a sari.

We don’t have the best pics but they both looked good.

P.S. Monica is carrying a Juliette Jake clutch and wearing a Ritika Sachdeva hand harness. Mira is wearing jewellery from Anmol.
