It was a Prabal Gurung sheath for Kajol at the recent event. And what could’ve been a winner, sadly ended up being a look that was ‘not quite‘.

The slouchy, oversized Louis Vuitton hobo was a complete downer and overtook rest of the look. A sharp, structured tote would’ve gone a long, long way. Also bit of a downer, those off-shoulder black bows that do absolutely nothing for her! Pity, with those two gone, the look would’ve been perfect on Kajol!

Paper magazine and Guess hosted a cocktail bash celebrating Priyanka Chopra’s recent tie-up with the clothes brand. Surprisingly instead of wearing Guess to the cocktail, Priyanka wore a Prabal Gurung look from the designer’s Fall 2013 collection with side-swept hair that showed off the backless detail.

The leather dress really needed a fiercer do. This one ain’t quite cuttin’ it.

It was a busy night for Ms. Kapoor who made an appearance not only at a charity event but also at the India Gem and Jewellery Awards and with both looks she kept it simple.

Of the two though, the gown was an instant favorite. That is not to say she looked bad in the suit, its just that the fall of the pants were off and the closed toe pumps weren’t working either.

P.S. She is wearing a Prabal Gurung suit and a Dolce & Gabbana gown.

Kajol is in New York attending a series of events at the United Nations for the ‘Help A Child Reach 5’ campaign. The actor who is brand ambassador for Lifebuoy will help promote hand washing to reduce child mortality.

While one appearance saw her in a Prabal Gurung, the other was in a black Sabyasachi. While we hunt for full-lengths, here’s your glimpse of her from the two events. Doesn’t she look great in the Sabya?

Sridevi celebrated her 50th birthday tonight in Mumbai with a big bash. For the bash, it was a silk Prabal Gurung floral dress.

Unfortunately, besides the dress, we couldn’t really like anything about the look. The make-up was too patchy and the ankle strap suede pumps felt too clunky for the dress.
