Both Shibani and Pooja stepped out wearing their distressed denims not too long ago. And both times, Shibani went with black tops and sandals, and Pooja with white tops and sneakers. Thing with distressed denim is, it only works if it’s just the right amount of distressed and frayed. While neither look was anything to write home about, Shibani’s denims especially gave us a pause. Between the two sets of separates that Pooja was seen in recently, I’d be hard-pressed to pick a favorite. She could do so much better, this was a lost opportunity. And no, you are not seeing things- at some point she switched sandals when in the red separates. Not that it helped!

Her movie’s promotions are in full swing which means we’ll be seeing more of Pooja in the coming days. Given that it’s become common to play around a theme for the entire promo tour, am curious to see if Pooja would go down the same path too. Of the two sightings below, it’s hard to pick up on anything that’s common between the two looks, so maybe not?

Recent round of movie promotions had Pooja reach for an Arpita Mehta lehenga to wear. A small bindi and pair of jhumkis rounded out the actor’s look. She looked nice but the lehenga did feel rather OTT for movie promotions.

For the trailer launch of her latest movie, Pooja picked a signature Arpita Mehta ruffle-detail sari. Jewelry from Urban Thesaurus and Fizzy Goblet jootis rounded out the actor’s look. She looked nice.
