In her silver sequin Naeem Khan gown, Ms. Lakshmi literally sparkled on the Emmy red carpet on Sunday evening in Los Angeles. Was it in a good way though? Not quite.

I don’t mind a statement gown but in this case, it was just too much bling overload. Picture the same gown in a sleeveless v-neck version and I think it would’ve worked way better. I also felt the hair and makeup was a bit lackluster. We’ve seen Ms. Lakshmi do way better.

Aishwarya attended the HT Most Stylish Delhi edition in the capital on Tuesday wearing a black Naeem Khan gown. When it comes to gowns of late, Ms. Rai has been in quite the strapless/offshoulder phase and this outing was no different.

But, we aren’t about to complain about this look. She looked good!

A day after doing a busy look in white, Sonam opted for a much simpler and fuss-free look at the Hello! Hall Of Fame Awards wearing a Naeem Khan creation from the designer’s Spring 2016 collection.

Adding a bit of a sexy siren vibe to the chiffon gown, she finished out the look with a bold red lip and diamond earrings. In theory, I should like this look, but am not quite sold on it. Between the sheer midriff and the cape, the gown had a very already-seen-it before vibe about it. There was nothing really uniquely Naeem about this gown. And maybe that’s why am a bit disappointed or rather, underwhelmed.

What did you think of this red on red look? We can all agree that it was a huge improvement over the night before, right?

Deepika sparkled on the Zee Awards red carpet wearing a Naeem Khan gown from the designer’s Fall 2013 collection, her 3rd look from it so far. See her other two here and here

Giving us our second look of the night featuring head-jewellery, she added a pearl matha patti complementing the cream sequin gown with smoky eyes finishing out her look.

I like the idea of mixing it up but at first glance, the look felt too gimmicky.
