Two recent appearances saw Ms. Ranaut in Cynthia Rowley dresses. At the International Fleet Review opening ceremony, she wore a purple brocade one with a Burberry bag and Dior pumps. that she wore with a Miu Miu earrings and Dior bag and pumps. She looked lovely!

At a private dinner during Make In India week, we saw the actor in another Rowley dress, this one being a pink midi frock that was paired with a Miu Miu headband and nude pumps. As cute as this look was, I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed at the choice, especially considering the event. Personally, I would’ve rather seen her wear an Indian designer to the event.

It was a Lanvin dress for Upasana while at the Awards event last night. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with a pair of diamond earrings, Christian Louboutin evening bag and Miu Miu pumps. The choice of dress was unexpected and it worked. But the look itself wasn’t quite a ten. Given the slight high-low hem, a pair of ankle-strap sandals would’ve worked a whole lot better. Those and a pair of more understated earrings would’ve taken this look up a notch, n’est–ce pas?

Wearing a top from Madison with a Victoria Beckham pencil skirt, Kangana attended a recent event. Aside from Miu Miu shades, a wristwatch and pair of black pumps, both from Dior were her accessories of choice. Not much to fault here; Ms. Ranaut looked well put together.

Kangana was photographed as she exited a Mumbai hotel after brunch with her family… And before you begin to wonder, her look included separates by Chloé, Victoria Beckham shades and Miu Miu bag and Mary Janes. As much as we love that we started off the New Year with a Kangana sighting, this appearance isn’t quite the high note we were hoping for. Even for an off-duty look, this felt rather meh for Ms. Ranaut.

At Mandira Bedi’s store launch, Sophie was photographed wearing Madison (crop-top) and Zara (culottes). With her hair pulled back in a ponytail, she paired the high-street separates with a Miu Miu clutch, Gucci belt and gorgeous Manolo Blahnik sandals. Not much to fault here; Sophie looked good!
