Never one to shy away from trying new things, Sonam wore a Masaba denim look last night to Vikas Bahl’s birthday party that was rather inneresting!
While Rhea called the look a denim sari, to me, it just looked like boxy pants, a crop top and a denim scarf/shawl worn as a dupatta. But, then who am I to rename the Mona Lisa? 😛
Coming back to Ms. Kapoor, once I tell myself that it is not quite a sari, think of it as separates, I don’t mind it. She makes it work for her. I’d probably tell others to stay away from doing the drape style. What did you think of this look?

Rhea was another one to do a sari at Manish’s party wearing a white one by Masaba. Because her full-sleeved blouse was sheer, she wore it with a bralet by Pushpak Vimaan.
Coming to her look, between the puffy sleeves and the belt, the sari didn’t look flattering at all. Skip the belt and swap the blouse for a sleeveless one and I think she would’ve fared a whole lot better.
But, Rhea does likes to march to her own beat, and something tells us, she doesn’t really care for anything we all have to say, either. 😉

Masaba also did the rounds on Diwali stopping by at multiple folks’ parties. The designer wore her own creation and while she sported a Sunita Shekhawat necklace while getting ready, seems like she changed her mind and opted for the gold earrings instead.
Which do you think worked better? The earrings or the necklace?
