Alessandra walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra at India Couture week wearing two looks, first more of a skinny sparkly sequin lehenga and then in a corset one embellished with pearls. No denying that she looked great in the sequin one. Hella hot!

As for the pearl, can’t believe that at a Couture week presentation, a) a lehenga that looked more like an art and craft project made it onto the runway and b) with a few pearls missing from the design. Look closely at the corset top.

On an aside, what is with these lazy corset top and lehenga skirts that is the trend these days?

For tapings of her next reality series, Sonali has been wearing saris but of the yellow Ekaya and the blue and orange/red Manish Malhotra, it was easy to pick the Ekaya as a favorite. My only gripe was the odd cutout on the blouse on the Ekaya.

At the trailer launch of her debut movie, Shanaya was seen in a sari-inspired gown from Manish Malhotra featuring a crystal pallu. The whole crystal strap (which seemed to have snapped off at some point) was quite a downer. I don’t know if it is a conscious effort to look a bit mature but that hairdo wasn’t really working here. Well, neither was the gown/sari.

Rekha attended the screening of her movie Umrao Jaan on Thursday evening wearing a custom long kurta set from Manish Malhotra with jewelry that helped almost recreate her original iconic Umrao Jaan anarkali look.

As always, she pulled it off with aplomb.
