At the trailer launch of her debut movie, Shanaya was seen in a sari-inspired gown from Manish Malhotra featuring a crystal pallu. The whole crystal strap (which seemed to have snapped off at some point) was quite a downer. I don’t know if it is a conscious effort to look a bit mature but that hairdo wasn’t really working here. Well, neither was the gown/sari.

She always tries too hard .. and how many times has she debuted? First KJo movie, then malayalam one with Mohanlal and one music video, now this. Already tired of her.

The palla is beautiful, but I would pair it with a different blouse. Ideally, you just let the palla take all the attention.
Love the color and the saree…i think it is the hair and the pout that makes her look old. A funky hairdo and some sass in posing would elevated the look. I think.
That’s a pretty color. Nothing else is working, the corset/gown/sari and those cheap looking crystals on the pallu/dupatta/straps! I actually like her hair and make up, I think it’s the outfit that’s aging her. It does look like she tried very hard also.. but that is understandable as it’s her debut. Wish her all the best!
Nowadays seems like star kids are training to be stars way too earlier, and not the acting part but the pr and social and looks and brands.
Don’t like the corset style bodice. She looks way older than her age. Mother of bride.
She’s drop dead gorgeous but definitely in the wrong place.. and outfits. Designers need to do better than passing bra corsets for saree blouse, especially knowing a plastic strap can snap! it’s horrid.
Soothing colors on her skin tone, but really there’s no feel of debut in her outings.
I do hope stars refrain from dharma copy paste, dim debuts for their kids who would otherwise stand real chance in bw.
