Wearing a Manish Malhotra, Kiara attended Priyanka and Nick’s wedding reception. I guess this is supposed to be a glamourous lehenga sari but with the pallu/dupatta worn on the arm, it just came off looking bad. Add to that the sheer uneven lining and I sure wasn’t a fan.

Wearing Manish Malhotra, Kajol attended the Chopra-Jonas reception in Mumbai. The pop of emeralds worked surprisingly well against the moody, wintery colors of her sari. Kajol looked nice. (Also, seeing the half-velvet sari, anyone else get a Sabya flashback?)

At the Lokmat Awards, Sara was seen in a by Manish Malhotra. I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t quite believe that this lehenga was by Manish because even I was taken aback at the relative simplicity of it. Having said that, while Sara looked nice, a pair of earrings would’ve made for a nice addition.

The Ambani-Piramal reception took place on Friday evening in Mumbai where the newly weds were finally spotted together. Surprising, the bride who wore Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for her wedding and Manish Malhotra to her sangeet, opted for a custom lehenga by Valentino. Can’t say we are surprised.
The question is, will more international labels start catering towards the Indian market. We know Needle & Thread making a sari last year that was available on Net-A-Porter. Guess, time will tell!

At a wedding on Thursday afternoon, Kriti was seen wearing a Manish Malhotra embroidered sari. While she looked nice, how I wish the sari didn’t have that feather detail. It was so not needed.
