Day two saw Kiara in a Manish Malhotra lehenga and day three in a sari featuring casatta colors, also by Manish Malhotra. Sid also wore Manish both days. I liked that each outfit matched the theme of the evening, which day two was all about fun and day three, more religious and serious.

In Threes

Gauri was seen at the Ambani/Merchant festivities on day one in a copper toned Tarun Tahiliani sari, day two in a gold Manish Malhotra sequin one and day three in a blue Falguni and Shane Peacock long anarkali. Have a fvorite? I liked the blue on her but the Tarun was my favorite here.

In Threes

Sara sported a Safiyaa jumpsuit on day one, a heavy pearl embellished Manish Malhotra lehenga on day two and a bhopali kurta churidaar set from Manish Malhotra on day three. Given how over the top others went on the cocktail night, the jumpsuit felt too simple but I am not complaining. She looked good in it. The lehenga was quite OTT but then that was theme of the night with almost everyone who also went on stage to perform.

The Bhopali kurta churidaar set is a style she has sported the second time. Just wish the kurta wasn’t that two-tone material. I know most won’t like it but the more I look at, the more I like it. Oddly.

Day two evening festivities saw Karisma in a custom white jacket and skirt look from Manish Malhotra paired with kundan hair jewellery and a stack of kundan bangles. It was an interesting idea but for me, the jacket with the hair jewellery wasn’t working. I think a simple plain satin sari would’ve had me singing a different tune.

Kareena opted for a black and gold Manish Malhotra stitched sequin sari on day two’s evening festivities wearing it with diamond jewellery. The sari and styling is so very her. It’s a quintessential Kareena look.
