Both these ladies changed it up at the recent Awards. To different results.

One to be mostly seen in saris, Amala picked a purple embellished suit wear. A metallic clutch and mary-janes finished out her look. Though we give her props for stepping away from the expected, this particular suit wasn’t way to go. Though she looked cute, let’s face it, even Amala couldn’t salvage that outfit.

Also a surprise was Lakshmi in her Manish Malhotra sari. Though personally we aren’t big on mesh blouses, she sure looked great!

Chartreuse/yellow with hot-pink is a combination we’ve seen plenty of… Are you tired yet? Shriya isn’t. In her Manish Malhotra lehenga, Shriya attended the recent AWards night.

Considering how we were left cringing the last time we saw her do a Manish Malhotra lehenga, can’t fault this one. She looked good!

A Bottega Veneta knot, matching pink lips and braided hair finished out her look.

Opting for a blue and pink Manish Malhotra lehenga was Madhuri at the IIFA Rocks event with gold danglers finishing out the look.

She looked nice but having just seen her looking great in the mint lehenga on the sets of JDK just a few days ago, this one doesn’t quite cut it. It feels too similar to the other look.

Yes, we know we’re being picky.
