Sonali attended Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party on Wednesday evening wearing a silver sharara by the designer. The sheer overlay revealing that blouse like crop top is a real odd design and any other color would probably look bad but Ms. Bendre lends an elegance to this outfit that one can’t deny. She looked good!

Alia was seen at Manish’s Diwali party re-wearing her pink patchwork lehenga that she wore to her mehendi last year. While it was nice to see her re-wear this, with the skirt design being more like a lehenga, the lack of a dupatta made the outfit feel unfinished. No dupatta for the mehendi function made sense but here, not quite. Also, the skirt design was such a hotch-potch of patterns. Can’t say it was pleasing to the eye.

Designer Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party on Wednesday evening had Kajol in attendance wearing a custom creation by the designer, but of course. We are going to be bombarded by all colors and variations of sequins at this event but I do want to appreciate this simple top and pants set on her. She looked nice.

Shilpa lent her support to Manish Malhotra at the latter’s store launch wearing a pearl trim maxi dress with clear PVC sandals. The neck detail could’ve had better finishing but overall, this was a nice outfit to see on Ms. Shetty. Too bad, she couldn’t resist going the match route and just had to add that garish pearl bag also. This would’ve looked so much better without that bag.
