Anushka picked Manish Malhotra for a recent Awards event. And jewelry from Minawala rounded out the look. This appearance was bit of a miss and for the most part, her make-up is to blame. Though we understand the effect she was going for, the exaggerated cat-eye and dark lip came off too heavy. Combined with the dress, she looked rather overwhelmed.

Wearing a Manish Malhotra long anarkali, Kajol attended the Zee Cine Awards on Saturday evening. If not for the velvet patch around the sleeves, I would’ve definitely thought that this was a Sabyasachi just because of the color and workmanship.

Coming back to Kajol, while she looked radiant, the shorter length on the sleeves and the hemline, threw proportions off a bit.

Wearing Manish Malhotra, a designer she heavily favors, Sophie attended the recent Awards. With her hair slicked back, she finished out the look with jewelry from Farah Khan Ali. While she hardly ever disappoints on the red carpet, this look fell in to the rare category of misses. Though the intricate jacket was striking by itself, as a whole, the outfit didn’t quite deliver.

At Bazaar Bride’s 2nd anniversary bash, Sophie was seen in a Manish Malhotra. The black gown may have felt a bit too simple but featured a rhinestone encrusted back. One to always keep it within limits, Sophie finished out the gown with diamond jewellery that felt just right for the outfit.

I do think though, given that this was more a party, the gown felt a wee bit too formal.
