Wearing a sweeping Manish Malhotra full-skirted gown, Divya attended Preity and Gene’s wedding reception. With her hair in a slick ponytail, a statement choker from Amar Ghanasingh rounded out the look. Aside from the combination being overdone, there are times when the addition of traditional jewelry with contemporary silhouettes just seems forced but that wasn’t the case here, the contrast worked well. Divya looked nice!

Although they got married a while back, Preity and Gene finally threw a wedding reception for their friends on Mumbai on Friday evening. Preity went the traditional bridal color route picking a one-shoulder gown by close friend Manish Malhotra in red and Gene did black and white in a formal suit.

Sophie picked a pink Manish Malhotra gown to wear to Preity and Gene’s wedding reception pairing it with her Halston Heritage box clutch. Part of me wished for a raspberry lip color but she looked nice nevertheless and brownie points for keeping it on the simple side.

Aishwarya visited the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma on Thursday for Sarbjit promotions wearing a Manish Malhotra lehenga.

One to mostly do slim fit suits and or mirroriwork floor-length anarkalis, I was quite surprised by the this pick. Didn’t quite expect her to wear this silhouette. Having said that though, I don’t think the boxy gold top worked well with the blue skirt. The contrast felt too jarring.

Just me feeling that way?

The Bachchan family was all present at the National Awards ceremony where Amitabh was conferred with one for his role in Piku. Aishwarya kept it relatively low-key wearing a white Manish Malhotra sari featuring chikankari work. Picking up on the burgundy border, the actor finished out her look with a dark lip and matching bangles and finished out with chaand bali style heavy earrings.

She looked pretty. Definitely preferred her in this look vs her last MM appearance.
