Also at the recent event were Mallika and Mahima who like most others there, put in an appearance in Indianwear. Of the two, Mallika in her Anita Dongre sari was the easy favorite by default. Not a fan of Mahima’s sari at all.

In an Alexander Wang dress and Louboutins, Mallika attended a recent press meet. It sure has been a while since we last had a Mallika sighting… Does this begin to make up for it? The dress isn’t one we expected to see on her but it sure fits. We think she looked good at the event.

It’s been a while since we’ve featured Ms. Sherawat. At an event back in the beginning of Nov, she was spotted promoting her movie Politics of Love wearing an Alice + Olivia dress with boots. Don’t mind the boots but wearing the Chanel beads seemed so forced. She would’ve fared better without ’em.

Continuing to favor a certain color palette, Ms. Sherawat once again wore Ali Mahdavi on the red carpet. And there’s no denying, she fared way better than the last time.
To me, the hood was a dampener. It may have been dramatic on someone else but considering Ms. Sherawat’s propensity to showboat on the red carpet, this just ends up looking campy. But let’s just pretend it’s not there, shall we? That said, she looked great! The hair and make-up really works.

When we first saw the Ali Mahdavi illustrations depicting Mallika’s gown, we were wondering just how much butt cleavage would be handed to us. Surprisingly, it wasn’t a lot. In fact, it was none. Yes, there was skin show but what did you expect. This is Mallika we’re talking about.
If we ignore the back, the color worked for her and neck up she looked good. But, we can’t quite ignore the back, can we? 😛
