At a recent wedding reception, Malaika Arora served as emcee but instead of going a traditional route, she donned a fusion look by pairing a cutout gown (seen before at the 2007 Filmfare awards) with a heavy necklace and a maang tikka and I actually liked it. I guess the fusion look was better to look at than the searing red/silver worn by Neetu (see inside).

Spotted first on Farah last month, the blue BCBG dress also found a taker in Malaika who also paired the dress with gold footwear but went a “match and contrast” route with a blue phone and a gold clutch (Now that’s a first!).

While Katrina had us grieving over all things nautical, Malaika revives our love for it in this striped dress that looks a lot like this Forever 21 one. She pairs her dress with a tan Gucci shoulder bag and pumps and while we don’t care for the gold pumps with the dress or the bag much, do like the color against the stripes (sure makes for a change over the predictable red).

Another day and another appearance, this time by Bipasha in a tiered dress brings back memories of Malaika in hers. Love em both, but in this case my vote goes to Malaika because I prefered her dress and the length, not to mention the nude pumps. Loved Bipasha’s color combo but her dress was a wee bit too long.

Seeing Shazahn immediately reminded me of Malaika. Interestingly enough, both wore blackmi corset mini dresses with box clutches and sandals. Question though is, who do you prefer? Either or neither?
