Seeing Shazahn immediately reminded me of Malaika. Interestingly enough, both wore blackmi corset mini dresses with box clutches and sandals. Question though is, who do you prefer? Either or neither?

By popular demand, since so many of you wrote in about this appearance of JLo, here goes a face-off between two divas who were spotted wearing the same Louis Vuitton dress within days of each other. When it came to styling it might feel like that both looked similar with the open hair, the clutches and the ankle-strap sandals but that is where the similarity ends. JLo went for a more nude makeup look with her wavy hair do, while Malaika kept it simple with a casual do and color on her lips. Question is, who do you like better?

Black was the color de rigueur for these ladies who were at LV bash too, in what else but LV.
Loved the Spring 09 dress on Malaika and we thought Sameera wore her Pre-Fall 09 dress rather well too. Glad she skipped the brooch or covered it with her hair in any case. Either way, glad.
As for Shamita’s Fall 09 dress, let’s just say we weren’t fans of the dress as shown on the runway. At all. And so while we are glad she chose a slightly toned down/less puffy version of the dress to wear to the event (for which she does get credit), the dress does nothing for her. Or us.
But, did we already mention how much we loved Malaika’s look? 😉

There should a difference but with Malaika, it wasn’t much. A black short dress gave way to a white one and the hair was pulled back but all else remained same. Having said that, which look worked better? The night look or the day look?
