The Ambani-Piramal reception took place on Friday evening in Mumbai where the newly weds were finally spotted together. Surprising, the bride who wore Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for her wedding and Manish Malhotra to her sangeet, opted for a custom lehenga by Valentino. Can’t say we are surprised.

The question is, will more international labels start catering towards the Indian market. We know Needle & Thread making a sari last year that was available on Net-A-Porter. Guess, time will tell!

Like Kareena at the event, Taapsee picked an ivory half-and-half sari as well, but to a much different effect. Teaming her Lajjoo C sari with a long-sleeved striped blouse, the actor rounded out the look by wearing her hair back and adding a pair of gold jhumkis by Gehna. She looked good.

For a round of movie promotions in Hyderabad, Taapsee picked a Lajjoo C dress to wear. With her hair pulled back in to a low ponytail, she rounded out the look with Sakshi Jhunjhunwala earrings and pair of metallic ankle-strap sandals. She looked nice.
