We rarely ever have an Abraham and Thakore spotting and the reason could partly be that their simple understated collection wouldn’t quite catch the fancy of stars who have to wear something more eye-catching.

On Ms. Rao, this A&T patchwork floral scarf might not catch your eye considering the rest of the outfit is quite dud, but think dark denims with a fitted shirt and the same scarf would look oh-so-lovely.

It was secretary chic for Ms. Rao at the launch of an upcoming movie. I love this look on her. However, I do wish she had chosen a different statement necklace over this more traditional one (or skipped it altogether)!

On an aside, I so want to see the vintage inspired Prada glasses on her. Can’t think of anyone better to pull ’em off! 🙂

Around here, we love Ms. Rao… But this look, we just can’t get on board with. The pants don’t work. Nor does the cross-body bag. The Manish Arora top I love, but she bunched it up (it’s much longer) and killed it for me. If there ever was a ‘Not Quite‘, this was it.

Yay for distinct personal style, quirkiness and all.

Having said that, as much as we love her easy panache for carrying off even the most suspect of looks, I do wish she paired the grey with something other than the puffy sleeved white shirt.

If you’ve been watching/reading this space long enough, you know that Kiran doesn’t quite do ‘conventional’ and so, it was no surprise to see Ms. Rao don those pants for her husband’s premiere… She absolutely pulls off the outfit and looks quite great methinks. Love how the necklace adds the necessary punch to that outfit.
