In Manish Malhotra
As far as saris go, Ms. Kapoor is as predictable as they come. Yes, it’s only Manish Malhotra for Bebo.

I love the idea of a white tee, denims and an orange sling bag, but knowing as you all do of our aversion to distressed denims, you’ve got to know this look is going to be a bit of a downer for us personally.
Also, man that bag is huuuge! I wish there was a better side-view picture coz’ then you’d see how overwhelming that bag looks on Kareena.

Looks like the pink Dior isn’t the only one that Ms. Sharma gets to wear in her upcoming movie. Thanks again ‘Noove’ for the spotting.

You’ve all probably seen Filmfare’s latest April cover featuring Waheeda, Hema, Rekha, Sonam, Deepika and the Kapoor sisters. Although, it looks like everyone’s image was superimposed, the ladies all shot together (see inside). Am guessing, logistically, getting everyone together was such nightmare, nobody gave two hoots about styling. How else can we explain the blue bangles on Deepika, the lackluster saris on Hema and Waheeda, and that gown on Karisma!
But then, Filmfare is not a fashion magazine, so we shouldn’t expect much anyways. Catch an article on making of the shoot and more pics Here and Here.
P.S. What’s with the scowl on Rekha?
P.P.S. This cover was shot a while ago and not recently in case you are wondering if this is Karishma’ post baby shoot.
Filmfare ‘Women We Love’ April 2010 Issue
In the past, we’ve seen ladies (Madhuri and Aishwarya) don some OTT saris to the Padma Shri awards and we haven’t been fans. But, they were winners. Kareena, on the other hand, coordinated with Saif’s white sherwani by wearing a white Manish Malhotra and for a guest was dressed just right.
The outfit was formal but not outlandish and a good choice because it didn’t take attention away from Saif. Because, after all, it was Saif’s moment.
