Kanika who attended the Umang show held not too long picked an oxblood cape-lehenga for the occasion. Wearing her hair back, she finished out the look with gold-tone jewelry. Lovely as she looked neck-up, can’t say I was a fan of the top-half/cape part of the outfit. And that makes this a ‘Not Quite’ for me.

It was a Drama Queen By Barkha Shewakramani dress for Kanika while at Vikram Phadnis’ anniversary show. Aside from the gold-tone clutch and ankle-strap sandals, a rather dramatic multi-strand necklace from Maheep Kapoor for Satyani Fine Jewels finished out the look. Not a fan of the lace-cape dress but the styling did put an interesting spin on it; she made it work!
