Kanika who attended the Umang show held not too long picked an oxblood cape-lehenga for the occasion. Wearing her hair back, she finished out the look with gold-tone jewelry. Lovely as she looked neck-up, can’t say I was a fan of the top-half/cape part of the outfit. And that makes this a ‘Not Quite’ for me.

This feels so forced… as though she / the designer liked the trend (cape) and just decided to put it in some outfit. It doesn’t complement the oxblood lehenga at all.
