In her beaded Roberto Cavalli Atelier gown, Kareena gave us color on the Glamour and Style Awards red carpet, one of the few to do so. Nude, understated make-up, side-swet hair showing off the back, sparkly Judith Leiber minaudière and diamond jewelry from Gehna finished out the actor’s look. Not much to dislike here; she looked great!

Shruti gave us a rather offbeat look at the Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards that made for a very interesting look. The tiered Kristy De Cunha gown with the halo braid and all the accessories (the Leiber clutch and Outhouse earrings) at first felt a lot to take in at first glance but the more we looked at it, the more we liked it. A lot of it also had to do with the fact that Shruti wore the look with ease without being overwhelmed.

I do think though, she should’ve saved this look for a music related red carpet event.

At the awards event held last night in Mumbai, Sonam walked the red carpet wearing an Isabel Sanchis gown. A severe updo, diamond jewelry from Nirav Modi and a whimsical Judith Leiber minaudière finished out the actor’s look.

While the graphic gown looked good on her, the accessories were a downer. All that bling felt rather excessive and I wasn’t quite taken by the choice of clutch.

Tabu who attended a recent do held in Mumbai, picked a Gauri and Nainika dress for her appearance. Sparkle by way of her eye make-up and Leiber minaudière added bit of a visual interest to her look. She looked great! (The awkward clutch holding we’ll just have to ignore.)
