In Manish Malhotra

Unless you live under a rock, you know JLo was in India to perform at a big fat wedding and during one of the events prior to her performance was seen in a pink lattice pattern sari from Manish Malhotra with diamond and russian emerald jewellery. The bust was a bit too snug but she wore it well. First time I’ve seen a a maang tikka that didn’t look overtly costumey.

In Manish Malhotra

Jennifer celebrated her 55th birthday in the Hamptons with a Bridgerton theme party and wore a custom Victorian inspired gown from Manish Malhotra. Color me impressed. Not that JLo wore Manish but rather at how good the construction was of the gown was. This was so far from the childish art and craft pailette/sequin dipped saris/lehengas that we are subjected to during Diwali and other events.

Borrowing An Idea

Priyanka performed at the TOI Film Awards wearing a nude rhinestone bodysuit that instantly reminded us of JLo’s from the 2011 American Music Awards. JLo’s was definitely much more risque with the rhinestones placed only on the basic parts.

This, of course, makes us wonder if Ms. Chopra came up with the look after seeing JLo?

Kareena on The Style Diary Of A Diva: (Un)Covered

Ms. Kapoor is out with a book where she shares her style mantra and tips on health and beauty. The book out in Dec features Ms. Kareena in a cream Falguni and Shane Peacock fringe dress. You may remember seeing the dress on the cover in a red version on both Jennifer and Deepika.

From Concert To Ad Shoot

Spotted Ms. Padukone shooting the latest TVC for Sony Cybershot Camera wearing the red fringe Falguni & Peacock dress seen last year on JLo. Coincidentally the theme of the ad is a carnival. Wonder if Deepika does the moves better then JLo.
