Ms. Dixit continued Dedh Ishqiya promotions visiting TV shows wearing Manish Malhotra on the sets of Comedy Nights and a red Jade lehenga on Dance India Dance.

Of the two, the Manish one was an instant favorite. Just not a fan of the Jade lehenga. The kurta was too stuff and the net lehenga overwhelming.

At a Longines event in Delhi last week, Aishwarya picked Jade again, this time a black velvet lehenga. Her recent outings in Jade weren’t quite successful and while this one wasn’t an outright winner, she did look nice.

P.S. Given the number of outings Ms. Rai has had in Jade, wonder if she’s their new spokesperson as well.

Speaking of overwhelmed… I give you Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Wearing Jade by Monica and Karishma again, Aishwarya posed for the photogs at an event where she and husband, Abhishek were announced as Prestige’s new brand ambassadors.

There’s nothing about this look that works for us. Same ol’ embellished, heavy Indian-wear. Same ol’ excessive volume, both with the fabric of her outfit and the hair. It’s all just so dated! A shame really considering the potential she holds to knock our socks off.

Photographed while at a recent event, we couldn’t help but notice how overwhelmed Huma looked in her Jade by Monica and Karishma outfit. The silhouette does her no favors! And let’s face it, between the volume, the embroidery, clash of metallics and hot pink and the hair to add to the visual overload, ‘overwhelmed‘ is putting it mildly. She can do (and has) so much better!

For the Awards Night, Ms. Mirza picked an anarkali by Jade. Personally, it’s a whole lotta volume and net for us. That said, Sania fared better than we expected in it!
