After a string of appearances in gown, the original ‘Desi Girl’ went desi at the Zee Cine Awards wearing a Jade sari.

The tissue material really didn’t photograph well and the look ended up looking much too OTT. We weren’t fans.

Wearing a Jade sari, Deepika attended Ahana and Vaibhav’s wedding reception with jewellery from Amrapali finishing out her look.

With the ombre sari featuring so much gold, the big jhumkis and the stacked bracelets felt a wee bit overkill. It wasn’t a deal breaker though, as she did look nice.

Wearing a Jade by Monica and Karishma sari, Madhuri attended the music launch of her upcoming movie.

Love that electric blue; it almost always works on every skin tone and looks fantastic. Aside from that, there isn’t much else that stands out about this look. Madhuri sure looked nice but, in a safe, predictable way. Not a bad thing always but, definitely a wee bit meh!
