A Grey Phase?

Two back to back appearances saw Ms. Fernandez in grey outfits and both times her looks were a ‘Not Quite’ for us. Albeit, her casual outfit was quite out of place amongst all those who dressed up, it was the white innerwear underneath the black tank that was the deal-breaker at the ‘Paa’ premiere. She wore the same white innerwear under her grey Karen Millen (see inside) satin dress and while we can give the barely-there appearance a pass, we’d have much preferred black under that grey. At least that would have made the peekaboo a sexy one! 😛

Jacqueline Fernandez On Grazia: (Un)Covered

For it’s year-end issue, Grazia had Jacqueline on it’s cover in a Valentino gown, grey Valentino suede heels and a Dior box clutch.

‘Yellow-and-grey’ is one of our favorite combinations and we love how the yellow (along with grey) stands out against the blue background. Having said that though, we’ve seen far more impactful covers from Grazia before and this doesn’t seem like quite the loudest bang to end the year on. If we were to separate the colors (which we love) from the picture itself, Jacqueline seems rather lost in the overwhelming colors and layout. Agree?

Spotted Ms. Fernandez pairing her dressed-down casual look with a yellow Louis Vuitton Paname Flight messenger bag from the Spring 2009 collection. Loved her casual look with the pop of color by way of the bag. Yep, the bag is too boxy but that color almost makes up for it. Almost.

When we first spotted this Anamika Khanna Fall 09 dress on Sonam, we thought it was a bit too Princess Jasmine’y on her… ironically, cut to a few months later and we see Aladin‘s Jacqueline Fernandez wearing a similar gown from the designer’s Fall 09 collection at her upcoming movie’s press meet. While we love Anamika Khanna, neither of these dresses catch our fancy…

In Dolce and Gabbana

We loved this tulle Dolce and Gabbana dress on Ms. Fernandez. Our only complain were those chunky black sandals that just didn’t gel with the dress and made her look an ‘Almost’ for us.

P.S. Gosh, if we got our hands on the dress, we’d so wear them with nude Loubs.
