Both Huma and Tisca chose to do ‘sparkle’ at a big movie premiere recently. And unfortunately, neither of these lovely women scored a home run.

I really wanted to like Huma’s look in the Tisharth by Shivani dress but between the big sleeves, the faux-wrap hem, voluminous hair and sheer stockings, it all was just too much. I appreciate the 80s call back given the movie premiere she was attending, but she really could do so much better. Would love to see Huma do a sharply tailored look one of these days!

As for Tisca, love the midi skirt and the accessories that she paired it with including the Cult Gaia clutch. If only she had paired ’em with a different top! This was a miss; neither the combo of the two nor the proportions did much for the actor.

In Aniket Satam

Huma attended the Filmfare OTT Awards and then a wrap party of her movie and seen wearing a belted gown by Aniket Satam paired with diamond and emerald necklaces. Overall she looked nice, but the way the dress draped around the bust wasn’t very flattering.

In Lavish Alice

While promoting her upcoming movie, Huma was photographed in a Lavish Alice dress. Minus the color, there wasn’t much else redeemable about the look. The silhouette, those buttons (rhinestone? crystal?), the stockings, the mesh pumps, all just wrong, very very wrong. And if the intention was to do a retro look, it still didn’t work. Huma deserves so much better!

Huma attended a few more virtual promotions sporting a blue Bennu Sehgall wrap gown to one, a sequin Nirmooha dress to another and separates from Freakins and The Circus on the other days.

Both the separates went on my “that is just terrible” list instantly. As for the other two, I feel like we’ve seen Huma do better.
